LPE School Leader
Dr. LaBrenica Harris
School Leader, Legacy Prep Elementary
I am excited to serve as Legacy Prep’s K-3rd grade school leader. I sincerely believe our time is now—to disrupt, to change, and to innovate. To refuse to accept the status quo and to demand more for our children. All our children. Because they deserve it.

As a leader, I prioritize a scholar-first educational philosophy that centers on the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student by fostering an environment where learning thrives.

With over 20 years of experience in various educational leadership roles, I have consistently championed initiatives that elevate student achievement, empower teachers, and strengthen community ties.
By cultivating high expectations and collaborative cultures, I have enhanced student outcomes through data-driven strategies and equitable practices.

My leadership has increased teacher productivity by providing targeted professional development and fostering innovation in instructional techniques.

Equally important, I have forged strong community partnerships, ensuring stakeholders are actively involved in shaping a shared vision for success. Grounded in research and practical application, this approach has created sustained improvements in schools, demonstrating that when scholarship is the focus, excellence in education becomes achievable for all students.

Personally, I am a graduate of an HBCU, Stillman College. I am the mother of five young adults who sharpen my parenting skills daily. I enjoy baking and long days at the beach.
